Nikki is a multi media artist and curator, whose practice is inspired by found ephemera, objects, words and natural things. Creating new narratives, she injects life into materials by developing one off installations and interventions, sculptures, fine art print editions, artist books and poetry.
Research and the ritualistic process of making are fundamental to her work - often exploring historical documents, scientific research and locations, allowing ideas to invade and evolve.
By entwining documentary and reimagined versions of the truth Nikki develops hybrid artworks about identity, memory and rites of passage.
