This work explores the concepts of time, rules and rituals. In a world where multi tasking and digital interruptions are a constant challenge, this piece was made over a month with each strand representing one hour of stitching. Formed from recycled materials, the installation, made on residency at South Lodge, St Leonards-on-Sea, provides order and a moment to reflect on what time means. If time does not exhist then maybe it is a measure of change and time slipping through your fingers. It's impossible to define but it touches the world of quantum physics, timelessness and creates more uncertainty.
